We are actively seeking art and writing submissions for StartPhoto.com and the StartPhoto PDF magazine.
Submission guidelines:
• Art submissions:
We welcome submissions of all photographic-based artwork, including digital imagery and collage.

Please submit via e-mail 1-10 images in high quality .jpg format, with a minimum dimension of 1000×1000px. Please do not watermark, but do give instruction of what text you’d like each image to be marked with (we have a standard marking practice). If you are selected, you will be contacted to provide more information about the work.Submissions smaller than the specified size will be considered for display on StartPhoto.com, but are too small for StartPhoto PDF Magazine.
• Writing submissions:
The StartPhoto community wants to hear you! It thrives on the input of multiple voices… this is an interactive environment where your voice, thoughts, and opinions are important.
Have a topic you’d like to share with your peers? If so, please send an e-mail to the curator with your article. Please include your name, a title for the article, an image to illustrate your message (optional), and your e-mail address if you’d like people to contact you.We have particular interest in articles about: digital imaging, the artistic process, art school, masters of photography (surveys of their work, editorial, etc), and other topics of interest to the all photographers, from the photo student to the professional. No exclusive rights are required, and a permanent writing credit and linkback is offered to every published writing and image contribution.
